Slipmatt, born Matt Lee, is a UK-based DJ and producer who rose to prominence in the early 1990s as one of the pioneers of the hardcore techno scene. He began his career in the late 1980s as a DJ in the UK rave scene, and released his first album in 1992. He is best known for his track “Slipmatt’s Scratchin” which was a hit in the early 1990s. He continues to tour and DJ around the world.
